The dream kitchen features a stove-top oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with a deep freezer, microwave and a coffee machine. The recreation room is perfect for keeping little ones busy if grown-ups want some downtime. When the adults are ready to play, there is a pool table, football and darts. Every bedroom has a television and there are 3 more throughout the house, all with satellite feed. Complimentary wi-fi for all. An original village wall, dating back 160 years has been carefully incorporated at the front of the property to honor the host family and Malinska’s rich cultural and historical heritage. The dry, stone wall was built by the locals when they built the church. The wall marks the old walking path that was the village access to the church that meandered through meadow and olive groves. Lanterna, means Lighthouse and the name honors three generations and once was the name of the restaurant owned by the grand parents. The Rijeka airport is 12 km away and transportation can be arranged upon request. Malinska, was once an island port for the export of wood, and a favourite tourist destination for the Viennese aristocracy. Austrian heir to the throne, Rudolf Habsburg, came to Malinska to hunt. Soon after that, the Viennese press declared Malinska the pearl of the Kvarner islands. Be sure to pick up one of the famous gastronomic souvenirs from the island, including the local home-made brandy, Vrbni?ka žlahtina dry white wine or dry figs. Water sports and numerous marked hiking and cycling trails with beautiful views make Malinska definitely unique! Due to the safety reasons romobile , bicycles skateboards, roles etc. is not allowed to use on tiles around the pool and around the house. All rolling equipment can be used on the parking lot without any problem or outside on the street.
