Why not explore the long and meandering river Klarälven by raft or canoe, do some fishing and try to catch a glimpse of a beaver. The wide stretched forests invite you to go hiking, berry picking or even hunting. There are several winter-sports resorts, for example Branäs, Hovfjället (Torsby) and Ekesberget (Ekshärad). Northern Värmland is also famous for its motor racing events: The Swedish Rally and The European Rallycross Championship attract large audiences every year.
