Perfect location in a rural setting, just steps away from easy access
to the main and most tourist cities in northern Portugal. The Port is a
45-minute, Braga and Guimarães 30 minutes to 20 minutes.
The palace houses are 4 independent villas, each with a capacity for
4/5 people, with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette with sofa bed, 1 bathroom,
barbecue and terrace where you can enjoy a quiet meal. The houses are
fully equipped. We provide Internet. The pool is fenced and is the
exclusive use of the Palace houses. Come and meet us, meet the North,
and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside the quality of our cuisine,
our wines and excellent weather.
Cycle Route The Tamega is about 500 meters. Park private car.
The houses are fully equipped, we provide linens, bath towels. The
kitchen is equipped. The guest has access to the laundry room where you
can find washing machine and other utensils needed for longer stays. We
provide Internet.
Within walking distance have access to supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, pharmacy, hospital.
We are always available to answer any questions / provide aid or solve any problem.

In the region there are numerous museums that you can visit, as well as historical monuments of the region. The beauty of nature is also 2 steps with fantastic places. The bike path Tamega (former line railway along the river Tamega), with a length of more than 30 kms, connecting Arch Baúlhe to Amarante, is undoubtedly an activity to experience, walking, running or cycling!
The villa is located in very rich and historical region. The cuisine is highly diverse and the landscape is incomparable. The region of Basto presents a vast historical, architectural and archaeological heritage. It has several spaces that allow a pleasant stay, such as recreational facilities and seasonal bath areas. There is also the possibility to enjoy the Eco-trail of Tâmega, built along the railway of Vale do Tâmega, linking the Arco de Baúlhe station and Amarante in a distance of about 51.7 km. This Eco-trail Tâmega is for pedestrian or bicycle traffic. It is a gentle and accessible route for all, with a beautiful scenery along the river Tâmega. Nearby lies the nature park Alvão with the famous Fisgas do Ermelo.At a short distance you can find the Alto Douro Wine Region, the oldest
wine region in the world – it has been producing wine for nearly two
thousand years – and raised UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also
find GUIMARÃES – EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2012 at a distance of 20
minutes, BRAGA – EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF YOUTH 2012 at a distance of
30-minute, and OPORTO in 45 minutes.

Rates explanation
Check-in from 14h. The schedule of the pool area is between 8:00 and 21:00. Respect rest hours, taking into account the noise carried out in this period. Small pets are allowed in the house provided they do not frequent common guest areas (e.g. pool). The houses are fenced so animals must remain within this area. Any damage in the infrastructures caused by the pet are responsibility of the pet’s owner. There is a 100 euros deposit amount delivered upon arrival at check in and returned at check out after verification that there is no damage in the house.
