The spacious heated swimming pool with ample lounging space is a pleasant place to relax. Overlooking the pool, a covered lounge and BBQ area is also provided for peaceful, relaxing evenings and delicious al fresco dining.
Quinta da Alentegria is 20 km from the beautiful beaches of Comporta, Carvalhal and Pego and 65 km from Lisbon. Half an hour by car or an hour by train and you’re in this vibrant city!
The city of Alcácer do Sal, which is also the capital of the region, is located on the Rio Sado river. The city was built on a slope. Sipping a cool drink by the water’s edge or going shopping in the small alleys are ideal activities to beat the heat in the afternoon. Take a breather on the benches above the castle with an infinite view of rice fields, storks’ nests and almost the whole Alentejo and you’ll understand why the Portuguese are so proud of their simplicity and tranquillity.
