Welcome to our nice guest house in Burgsvik on the Gotland Storsudret!
Pensionat Grå Gåsen is housed in a beautiful patrician villa with Italian style, built in 1850 by an Englishman named GF Thomson and his wife Stava.
Here, the beautiful, rich environment is combined with carefully renovated rooms of high standard.
We have 12 double rooms of varying sizes, all with their own toilet and shower. 8 of the rooms are in the main building, the other 4 are in our annex. In the common living areas there is a stylish dining room and some smaller lounges.
We offer our guests a guest house where you can enjoy the peace combined with good food and beautiful surroundings.
You choose how you want to stay, rooms with breakfast or retirement homes.
We have 8 rooms inside the main main building, and 4 rooms in our annexe right next to the outdoor pool. All rooms are double rooms and have their own shower and toilet. Most of them also have their own balcony / patio or patio.
The rich atmosphere of the main building has rooms of different styles, both with the house's Art Nouveau and with more modern features. Some of the rooms are so large that they can easily accommodate a few extra beds for the children, and one of the rooms has a small single bedroom for the children / teenagers.
For the kids ...
We have of course toys and toys for the children, children's books, children's films and the whole garden becomes like a playground.
For the excursion ...
We are happy to lend our bicycles to our guests, bicycle bins and excursion blankets are also available, of course! We will gladly help you with the excursion basket for the day, whether you are traveling by car or want to ride a bike.
FoodOur food is characterized by the Gotlandic qualities; excellent locally produced raw materials in balance with our conditions and our nature. We would rather have all the ingredients from Gotland and adapt the menu according to seasons and availability.
"Food should be good, well-prepared and nutritious" said Maria's mother, so we do not fuss to it more than that!
Inside the guest house, full board is offered in connection with the accommodation, and on Sundays during the autumn, winter, spring we are open for Sunday dinners.
During the summer season, Restaurant Gåsens Lada is open!
We are closed for the 2018 season. Welcome next summer !!
