- only 20 min. from Reykjavík City centre but still in the country, Reykjahlíð is in Mosfellsdalur valley . Minimum stay is 2 NIGHTS. A beautiful place where you can enjoy the outdoor, say hello to the animals and if your lucky , even get yourself fresh eggs in the henhouse for breakfast :-) The tab water here is the same as they sell in bottles so there is no need to buy water, and if you arrive very late you can let me know so I can have some snack for you in the fridge, as the shops here in Mosfellsbær close at 20:00
- In Reykjahlíð you can be as free as a bird hiking from the house in all directions on many different mountains, with beautiful view, and a horse rent and a golf course within 4 km, beautiful waterfalls, not a common tourist places, are here as well. In Mosfellsbær town is a very nice swimming pool and Laxnes horse farm has guided riding tours every day , only a couple of km away from Reykjahlíð as well as a very nice golf corse .
