It is a construction that follows the typology of the Valencian orchards of the nineteenth century, being one of the few civil constructions that existed in Xàtiva outside the walls. The building has been restored respecting its original construction, keeping intact its distribution of rooms and corridors, keeping all its old furniture, works of art, crafts and other household goods that were part of the building and its inhabitants.
In the 19th century, one of the doctors of Alfonso XIII bought the Hotel del Arbol and assigned it to private residence. The Hotel was next to the bullring and the Mill of Perico, one of the few civil constructions outside the wall of Xàtiva. The ancestors of the present owners acquired the Hotel and lived in it for several generations.
Over time, the old Valencian orchard of oranges and palm trees was rehabilitated and converted into a 3 star charming hotel combining collections and furniture together with contemporary works of art.

The garden is one of the most pleasant places of the Arbol Hotel, with several rest areas. Special mention should be made of the great spruce planted at the end of the 19th century.
